Panton Cubes: Duck

Version: Duck, duo-tone
Materials: frame elements and panels made of recycled ABS plastic (post-industrial), panels with coloured or chrome finish
Assembly required: The modular system consists of square frames that are assembled to form cubes, which are then linked with clips and fitted with coloured or chrome panels to create patterns and volumes
Note: it is a decorative object, not a toy

Product story: Designed in 1974, the system was utilised by Verner Panton to form a wide variety of figures. The re-edition of the Panton Cubes by Vitra, developed in collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG, includes kits for a Duck, Flamingo, Giraffe and Cat. Each kit contains the elements needed to create the respective animal figure – yet as there is no limit to the imagination, countless other ideas can also be brought to life.
